Το κυνηγητό στους Ρώσους ολιγάρχες, που δραστηριοποιούνται στην Ευρώπη είναι ανελέητο και έχει φέρει τα πάνω κάτω στην καθημερινότητα και του συλλόγου από την πρωτεύουσα της Αγγλίας. Ο Ρόμαν Αμπράμοβιτς προσπάθησε από την πρώτη στιγμή να διευκολύνει την κατάσταση, βάζοντας μέχρι και πωλητήριο στην αγαπημένη του Τσέλσι, αλλά ούτε αυτό είχε κάποιο ουσιαστικό αποτέλεσμα.
Το πάγωμα των λογαριασμών, η ακύρωση των πιστωτικών καρτών, η απαγόρευση πώλησης εισιτηρίων στους εντός έδρας αγώνες, το κλείσιμο κάθε εμπορικής δραστηριότητας, έχει δημιουργήσει οικονομική ασφυξία στην ομάδα. Οι παίκτες για να αγωνιστούν χθες στην Γαλλία αναγκάστηκαν να μεταβούν με λεωφορείο κάνοντας ένα δεκάωρο ταξίδι. Σκηνικά και καταστάσεις που παραπέμπουν σε άλλες εποχές και που δεν αντιστοιχούν ούτε στο μέγεθος, ούτε στην πραγματική ρευστότητα του συλλόγου. Ο Τούχελ και οι παίκτες του δεν πτοούνται και δείχνουν αποφασισμένοι να παλέψουν με όλες τους τις δυνάμεις κόντρα σε κάθε αντιξοότητα. Από την άλλη το θέμα είναι ως πότε; Πέρα όμως, από το οικονομικό κομμάτι, όπου εκεί θα υπάρξει σίγουρα υπομονή, η ιστορία δείχνει να αλλάζει και σε αγωνιστικό επίπεδο. Η απόφαση να μην επιτραπεί στην Τσέλσι να έχει θεατές στο μέλλον στις αναμετρήσεις για το Champions League, αλλάζει και την εικόνα στον αγωνιστικό χώρο και τοποθετεί την αγγλική ομάδα σε θέση μειονεκτική έναντι των αντιπάλων της.
Αλήθεια πόσο σωστό και δίκαιο είναι ένα τέτοιο μέτρο; Τι φταίνε οι φίλαθλοι της, που έχουν αγοράσει εισιτήριο διαρκείας και θέλουν να την δουν να αγωνίζεται στο κορυφαίο επίπεδο; Τι φταίνε ο Τούχελ και οι ποδοσφαιριστές του να μην έχουν την υποστήριξη, έστω και ορισμένων, οπαδών τους σε κρίσιμα παιχνίδια; Από και ως που η απόφαση αυτή δείχνει αλληλεγγύη στον δοκιμαζόμενο λαό της Ουκρανίας; Εννοείται πως όλα τα παραπάνω ερωτήματα είναι ρητορικά. Ασφαλώς και δεν μπορεί να ενταχθεί η απαγόρευση να έχουν θεατές τα ματς της Τσέλσι σε μια αντιπολεμική εκστρατεία κόντρα στην κίνηση της Ρωσίας να εισβάλει στην Ουκρανία. Πιθανότατα εντάσσεται στον γενικό παραλογισμό, που επιβάλλει να απομακρύνονται Ρώσοι φοιτητές από τα ευρωπαϊκά πανεπιστήμια ή να μην παίζονται έργα μεγάλων Ρώσων μουσικών και θεατρικών συγγραφέων. Πραγματικά ντροπή.
Φτάνουμε και στον παραλογισμό και στην υποκρισία, που αναφέρεται στον τίτλο. Όταν ο Ρομάν Αμπράμοβιτς έφτασε στην αγγλική πρωτεύουσα και εκδήλωσε ενδιαφέρον να εμπλακεί στο ποδόσφαιρο δεν ήταν Ρώσος ολιγάρχης; Δεν ήταν φίλος και υποστηρικτής του Πούτιν; Η προέλευση των χρημάτων του ήταν απόλυτα διαφανής και κρυστάλλινη; Σαφώς όχι σε όλα. Άρα; Απλά τότε βόλευε να μπει ζεστό χρήμα σε μια αγορά, όπως αυτή του ποδοσφαίρου, διαρκώς αναπτυσσόμενη. Το ίδιο δεν έγινε και με άλλους ιδιοκτήτες ομάδων της Premier League; Ταϊλανδοί, Άραβες, Ουκρανοί μεγιστάνες έβαλαν χρήματα, αλλά τότε ήταν επενδυτές. Τώρα, που το αγγλικό πρωτάθλημα έχει μετατραπεί σε μια μηχανή παραγωγής χρημάτων και είναι με διαφορά το καλύτερο της Ευρώπης, μας παίρνει να κάνουμε τους τζάμπα μάγκες στην περίπτωση της Τσέλσι.
